Please join us for Cara HELLPs 3rd Annual Preeclampsia Awareness 5km Walk/Run VIRTUAL Fundraiser to be held on Saturday October 3rd, 2020.
Due to the unprecedented times with Covid19, this year's fundraiser will be held VIRTUAL. Despite COVID-19 Cara HELLPs community will rally forth in honour of Cara, with the same friendly competition. We encourage you to get registered!
Pick your own route....get your families and friends together, strollers, wheelchair, non runners, etc. everyone welcome! Run or walk it on your own, with a small group, get a team together or however else you choose. Use any type of app, watch, fitbit, etc to track your route and time and send it in. Dress up, have some fun, we encourage lots of pictures to add to the fundraiser gallery.
There will still be top best time prizes as well as other prizes for best costumes, most creative route and others.
No registration fee for children 12 and under!

Awareness Fundraiser October 5th, 2019! CLOSED
I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who came out to support Cara HELLPs 2nd Annual Preeclampsia Awareness 5km walk/run Fundraiser on October 5, 2019.
We had 213 registrants and 193 that attended. We raised roughly $17,000.
A big thank you to all the amazing volunteers that came out to help with set up. I would also like to thank all of our sponsors for donating great prizes, the many community businesses and friends who donated or made items for the silent auction and the many donations received!
I would like to make special mention to Perkin Elmer who sponsored the Cara HELLPs waist packs, Tim Hortons - Signal Hill for keeping us warm, Corus Entertainment for the amazing 770 CHQR air time we received a week before the event, Dolce Real Estate Group for the videography for the event and Melanie Pastuck Photography!
